Open Position: Part Time Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 20-25 hours/week, Flexible Schedule (emergency on-call work may be required)

Rate: $25-$27/hr

Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum

As a Maintenance Tech at Wentworth Senior Living, your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders submitted by staff and residents.

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility, identifying and addressing safety hazards or maintenance needs.

• Ensure all equipment, tools, and systems are maintained and functioning properly.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.

• Assist with groundskeeping and seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with facility policy and local regulations.

• Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.

Requirements for the Maintenance Tech role consist of:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.

• Familiarity with tools and safety practices.

• Experience in a healthcare, assisted living, or similar environment is a plus.

• Ability to pass a background check and comply with health-related screening requirements.
