Open Position: Part Time Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 20-25 hours/week, Flexible Schedule (emergency on-call work may be required)
Rate: $25-$27/hr
Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum

As a Maintenance Tech at Wentworth Senior Living, your responsibilities will include:

Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

Respond to maintenance requests and work orders submitted by staff and residents.

Conduct regular inspections of the facility, identifying and addressing safety hazards or maintenance needs.

Ensure all equipment, tools, and systems are maintained and functioning properly.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.

Assist with groundskeeping and seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with facility policy and local regulations.

Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.
Requirements for the Maintenance Tech role consist of:

High school diploma or GED required.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.

Familiarity with tools and safety practices.

Experience in a healthcare, assisted living, or similar environment is a plus.

Ability to pass a background check and comply with health-related screening requirements.
