Open Position: Transportation Driver
Rate of Pay: $20-22/hr
Schedule: This job is unique in that it is a very flexible position. Each week, depending on the schedule of appointments and outings, hours will vary. This person works closely with the Director of Resident Engagement each week & the driver will be assigned to the scheduled appointments. Specific Days can be assigned but if there are a lack of appointments on assigned days, the Driver may not be needed.

Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum
As a member of the Transportation team at Wentworth Senior Living your responsibilities will include a few of the following key points:

Adherence to Safety and Regulations: Follow all traffic laws, maintain safety protocols, and ensure all passengers are seated with seat belts fastened before departing.

Vehicle Maintenance and Reporting: Conduct daily vehicle maintenance, including pre and post-trip inspections, and keep accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption. Report any malfunctions to proper channels.

Schedule and Communication: Follow assigned routes and schedules, and promptly notify the team with any changes in availability or schedule.

Cleanliness and Upkeep: Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure it is free of ice and snow for safe operation.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED with related experience
- Current NH drivers license
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Acceptable driving record as determined by the DOT background check
- Must pass a Department of Transportation physical and periodic drug and alcohol screenings
- CDL strongly preferred
